Slime’s Power Sport Tire Inflator is a versatile, compact air compressor with a capability of up to 300 PSI. It adapts to any 12 volt power source, and includes a main harness wire with fuse, an alligator clip cord for any battery, a power cord with A/C adapter and a pre-wire cord to attach directly to the battery. Also included with the inflator are an air hose with quick-clip, a valve core removal tool and filler tube, a tire pressure pencil gauge, and tools and adapters for tires, balls, beach toys and other inflatables. This unit and its accessories are protected by a rugged carrying case.

I rate this product a 5 star, although I haven’t used this product yet, decided to purchase it as a result of the review of motorcycle tire inflator’s in the MOTORCYCLE CONUMER NEWS, just wanted to have one to carry in saddle bag of my HD Ultra Classic, in case it was needed.

I bought this in November 2008.
Nice compact package with all of the accessories you would need. I have never turned or used the pump (perhaps I should before I find out it doesn’t work) or the accessories yet (no need to)
I hope I NEVER have to use this for flats, but its there if I need it.
I will update this if that time ever comes…knock on wood.
The 5 stars is because it has never let me down (to date)

Had this unit for about an hour (before I returned it)….took 5 minutes to put 4psi in one tire and the unit was dangerously hot during that process.
It would not be possible to use this unit to fully inflate a single tire before the excessive heat shuts the unit off.

The beautiful packaging is in full contradiction with a product that, in a way, just can’t work. I connected the unit to my battery with the cables provided. It could not reach the left-rear tire on a standard-size sedan! OK, so I plugged it into my in-car power outlet to try it out. The chuck was difficult to attach to to the tire valve — and especially difficult to remove. (I was concerned that I would break the valve.) In any case, after a run of two minutes, the tire pressure was DOWN a pound and a half! I also noticed that the inflation hose was especially short. On my SUV, if the tire valve ended up in a topmost position, which it did on one tire, the inflator dangled; it could not touch the ground. When I decided to return the unit, it was impossible to repack the cables in the little plastic sack provided — which did not surprise me because I could barely get them out. All in all, quite a disappointment because I really wanted this to work. Also, I have the feeling that this is really designed for motorcycles and should not be sold for cars, which is an application noted by the manufacturer. (I really hate to say this, but the product’s brand name took on special meaning to me.)
